Wilson Crosswalk Survey

Wilson residents – Please help Teton County Pathways and WYDOT determine the location of a new crosswalk(s) across WY-22 in downtown Wilson.

A meeting will be held by Jim Chandler of Jackson Hole Community Pathways, on Wednesday, October 22 at the “new” Wilson Elementary School to solicit public input.  Please try and attend.  This survey will be a part of the discussion.

Do you want a crosswalk similar to the ones in Town with a painted crosswalk across the road, and a “Stop” or “Yield” pedestal in the middle of the road from spring to fall (signs would be removed during winter months)?  Would you favor a pedestrian activated flashing light to stop traffic also?  Pedestrian crossing signs would also be placed both east and west of the crosswalk to warn motorists they must stop for pedestrians per WY State law.

Please choose one of the numbered crosswalks. Maps will be available at the meeting on Wednesday. (Not currently available on the website.)  Number 3 is between Nora’s and Hungry Jack’s, and number 4 is at Ida Lane.

Feel free to print this form and bring it to the meeting, or leave it at Hungry Jack’s for us to pick up. THANK YOU!

ALSO: You may call Jim Chandler at the County Pathways department: 732-8573.
